    abba are good,but they are not in the same league as the beatles,,,even benny and bjorn would probably admit that,they were highly influenced by lennon and mc cartney

    @OllyJollyOrange o stfu

  15. Drydoc2 says:

    @hilla1994 You could never put the Beatles into a musical category because every song is different. There isn’t a “style” per se. You can hear nearly every musical genre in their music. The Beatles are probably the greatest influential band in history and continue to influence contemporary music. To not understand what the Beatles have done to music is to miss an important part of the story of what’s been going on in music over the last 40 years.

  16. Drydoc2 says:

    @hilla1994 If you don’t know the Beatles, you’re in for a treat. Certainly you must have heard some but probably just don’t recognize them. Their history goes back to the early days of rock and roll. Influenced by Buddy Holly, the infamous “cavern”, number 1 in America before setting foot on the soil. Listen to their music change as Bob Dylan gets them high for the first time, then again when they take acid, and again when they are disillusioned by Mahesh Yogi. Check them out.
